Malaysia is one of the beautiful countries in South East Asia. Although it's geographically located between two famous countries (Thailand and Singapore,) however Malaysia is finally recognized in the eyes of the world after proclaimed it's two famous Petronas Towers as the tallest buildings in the world until recently.

Malaysians community in Richmond, VA is very small which consists of about twenty families of young professions from various walks of live. However, we are increasing our population as more Malaysians from another state migrate to Richmond as our city grows. We have the three major races which are Malay, Chinese and Indians and one native from Sabah state called Kadazhan.

Our mission is to provide support and a helping hand to each other in a far distant land from home.

We also want to promote and educate others about our beautiful country, culture, and our customs.

We meet regularly to celebrate special holidays that are celebrated in Malaysia. In this way, it will remind us of our culture, country and bring us closer together.
